Hmmm...

It is 6:24 am, and I have yet to sleep. I have a feeling it is going to be a long day! We're headed up today to visit our family, and go to church. And then Monday we're all going to Busch Gardens. Sounds like one would be happy, right? Not really, I'm actually not happy about going at all. This trip will probably be the last time my family sees Eric until June. Possibly (although I doubt it) the last time his parents see him until June... Definitely the last road trip we take until then. I need to go outside and clean my car out, but that means we're one step closer to leaving :(

One good thing, I made my first sale on Etsy Friday! I'm so excited, I was starting to believe I was never going to make a sale up there. The only problem is, I'm overloaded right now...and I'm willing to admit it. I'm making progress, though, so I'm not too worried about it anymore. After a few more sleepless nights, I won't have anything to worry about, lol.

I finally gave in to the pressure and made a pillowcase dress in my sleeplessness. I can't wait for my daughter to wake up, so she can try it on! I had absolutely no measurements to go by, just comparing to a dress that is too small for her, so hopefully it won't be a total lost cause. I made a fabric flower hairbow with a bottlecap center last week that matches the dress, so I really hope it fits.

Off I go to clean out my car, so I can pack it full of crap, lol.

Random Thoughts....

My brain is all over the place today.

I'm actually driving myself crazy thinking... For some reason Alana's stroke is weighing really hard on me. It's so hard to believe how far my little girl has come! Just over 4 years ago she was laying in a hospital bed, seconds from death. And now, here she is, literally running & bouncing ALL DAY LONG. No obvious signs of sickness....no obvious signs that she has a genetic mutation that could take her from me at any time.

When life is moving by so fast that you forget to breathe, it's so easy to forget to savor every moment. So easy to forget that nothing is promised.

What a horrible day! Eric came home with his tough box and deployment orders!!! Don't get me wrong, I have been aware of the deployment for a few months, but to actually hold the orders in my hand...complete slap in the face :(

On the brighter side of things, Alana's 'spots' are completely gone, and she didn't complain at all about being itchy!

Oh my goodness...

Bad momma, I haven't blogged in a few days. Having husband back home threw me out of my new habit. Whoopsie.

Well, we went to the ER last night. Out of nowhere Alana got red splotches on her face, and she started scratching. Literally, within seconds she got red splothes all over her body! I FREAKED out. Thankfully, I've been a mommy long enough that I didn't panic. Turns out she has hives! It's so weird, she hasn't ate anything different. Honestly, I think it was from stress. She has done so good since Cam has been here, but I guess 6 months of dealing with a new baby finally added up... But, there is no way to be sure.

Eric had a 'pause' today! He came home for a couple of hours, it was pretty nice, but it was just a tease :( Hopefully he'll be coming home on Monday, but I can't count on anything until he is actually here. That is the most importand lesson I have learned in the 2 years he has been in the Army.

I got a lot of my to-do list knocked out last night! That excites me to no end, lol. I've been on a flower making frenzy, I want the customer who ordered them to have a lot of choices. This is what I'm sitting on so far.

Besides Eric coming home, it was another lazy, boring day... And when you have 2 kids, sometimes that is the best kind of day.

Fundraiser!

It's official, I'm going to be selling at a fundraiser in September! I'm so excited about it. I'm giving a percentage of my profits to the FRG, so not only am I going to be getting my name out there, but it's for a good cause. I'm a little freaked out because I've never sold at a show before, and I have NO extra inventory. Everything I have ever made has been custom, which means I have to make A LOT of stuff! I don't know what the best sellers around here will be, so I'm going to be taking a little bit of everything probably. Ahhhhhhh! I'M SO FREAKING OUT!!!
